Hello Everybody

I am happy to announce the general and unrestricted availabilty of
once famous, linkable with all 3 compilers, Clipper, (x)Harbour and Xbase++
library and COM server, as you may prefer to use, in public domain.

In Clipper era, Vouch32 was downloaded more than 7000 times.

You can download Vouch32 complete package from:

The contents:

1. libv32libL.a - MinGW compliant library directly linkable with applications.
2. V32xDemo.prg - Demo application code usable both with LIBRARY and ACTIVE-X
3. V32LibDemo.hbp - Project file to link the application with LIBRARY
4. V32xDemo.hbp - Project file to use ACTIVE-X
5. Vouch32X.ch - Header file in case you need to use these constants
6. Vouch32X.dll - ACTIVE-X Server
7. Vouch32X.res - Windows resource file needed to be linked with the app in LIBRARY mode.
8. Vouch32X.chm - Windows compiled help file.
9. Vouch32X.pdf - PDF compliant help file.

The library is now in public domain ( binaries only ).
I will try to keep it updated for next Harbour versions as long as I am alive.
The library is not written like a perfect library and also contains Vouch specific
code, now guarded against a directive, so I cannot publish its source, sorry.

The library can be used with any GT, GTWIN, GTWVG or GTWVT or any GUI application.

Though most of the functionality is now availble in Harbour except for
Print Engine with Preview, Reports Engine with Preview, and Charting Engine.
So mostly you will be exposing them in your applications.

The Print Engine is 100% compatible with PageScript code.
You may only need to change the functions prefix "PS" => "V32P_" and
your existing code will work as is. There are many more additional functions
which you would love to implement.

Help files are not upto standards, but may be sufficient. I will try to respond to
support questions but where ? I am in a fix. Should I create a separate one or
Harbour Users group is enough and desirable. Your opinion will matter.

Não.
A vouchlib é uma biblioteca cheia de recursos da época do clipper é bem antiga.

Já a HBIDE é uma IDE, acredito que se já não é, será a padrão do Harbour, está cheia de recursos, inclusive agora com o mais novo recurso de mostrar em miniatura os arquivo "include hwgui.ch" por exemplo. Mostra em miniatura quando passa o mouse por cima.
Podemos abrir os DBF, CDX/NTX e já usar "->" para escolher os campos, intellisense, help das funções e comandos do Harbour e outras coisas que o pessoas pede ao Pritpal e ele vai implementando.

Engraçado... nunca tinha ouvido falar dessa HBIDE e não conheço ninguém q use!

Nunca tive familiaridade com IDE que pra mim eh um editor de texto ou feitor de telas visuais, talvez seja mais que isso.

Cheguei a usar, parei e agora estou voltando a usa-la. Estou gostando, só os ajustes pq a HBIDE tem muitos recursos é cheia de configurações algumas talvez eu até desligue.
A HBIDE, HBQT, fazia parte do core do Harbour, cresceu tanto que teve que ser criado um lugar a parte.

prezados boa noite!
Instalei a HBIDE (r419) e quero usá-la para compilar meus projetos.
Uso o harbour 3.4.x e as libs:

hbnf.hbc

Como faço para compilar?
vi que está em inglês e tem as seguintes opções de menu (as que percebi que são mais importantes):
*PROJECT
- Set a Project as Current // (para que serve)?
- New Project Wizard (prototype only) // para que serve?

* BUILD
- Compile
- Compile to PPO
- ...
Como usar essas e as outras opções desse menu?

* SETUP
* ENCODING
Para que servem e como usar e configurar essas opções?

Minhas observações:
- Bom, tentei o básico, em PROJECT, open project (apareceu o meu arquivo .HBP) e ao abrir todos os meus .PRGs vieram para essa IDE.
- Tentei COMPILE e parece que compilou, (só parece) mas, apresentou o primeiro erro:

- Tentei em BUILD e LANCH e apresentou foram vários erros:

Enfim, como no começo de tudo em 2015, são muitas as dúvidas e perguntas, mas, sem respostas...

se souberem (como sabemos, aqui o sistema é bruto) estamos aqui prontos a aceitarmos as correções por parte da ignorância deste vosso servo!

não sei dizer (sou muito leigo nessa modernidade toda), mas, só pra acrescentar mais informações:
- estou usando arquivo .RC
- também estou usando arquivo .exe.manifest
- meu harbour é o 3.4.x
- atualmente estou compilando no braço com a ajuda de um .bat e gtwvg e demais que já mostrei.
