Hi Enrique:
I've been trying to create *working* versions of 64-bit xHarbour for the
last several weeks (under MinGW 5.3.0, and BCC 7.2). Luiz Culik has been
providing me with suggestions and hints on MinGW, and Andi Jahja has
provided me (thru Enrico) with the basics of 64-bit BCC)
But, so far, I am still a 'failure' in both of these tasks.
I am waiting for Luiz Culik and Andi Jahja to help me out of my
misery -- but they have their own lives to live I guess :((
Anyway, you can download 64-bit versions of MinGW and BCC from my site
(whosaway.com), and start working on this yourself. Maybe, you will be
luckier than me !

Código: Selecionar todos
Hi Andi::
I did my tests yesterday and again this morning:
Results:
I was able to create the 64-bit BCC72 version of xHarbour for build
10154. That is, the *root* of xHarbour.
When I tried to create the contrib extras, I had a dll crash.
The error was in creating gtwvw.o from gtwvw.c.
The error lines were 1431, 1434, 1469, and 1470.
All of the error lines were basically the same, for example:
contrib\gtwvw\gtwvw.c: 1470:5: error: Use of undeclared identifier '_AL'
So, it seems that the assembler register vrbls _AX, _DX, and _AL were
not declared before their use in these lines
So, I will not proceed until I get a clean compile for all the contribs.
I believe Luiz should be informed of these errors too.
Thanks for trying to help !
